Toonwords is a website where words come to life through simple comic-style images. Each word is visualised step by step in the Toonwords style, so you do not only read what a word means, but also see its meaning.

Who are we?
Stick Toonword – Founder & creator
Stick is the mind behind Toonwords. He believes words truly stay with you when you can see them. With simple stick figures and clear imagery, he is building a place where language invites discovery. No lessons, no rules — only words that stay with you.
Tony Woodstick – Webmaster & information
Tony is Toonwords’ webmaster and content assistant. He helps create, add and publish words and visuals. As the regular contact for questions and information, he uses a playful approach to keep everything organised online and pleasant to use.
Toon Stickword – Content management
Toon fills Toonwords one word at a time. He draws, chooses colours, creates comic strips and gives every word its own atmosphere. Sometimes light-hearted, sometimes striking, always visual. While Stick shapes the idea, Toon makes the words come alive.
Barry Drieenhuizen – IMT Projects
Barry keeps the website running and makes sure every page appears as intended. While Toon draws, Tony writes and Stick brings ideas to life, Barry keeps the foundation stable and sets the pace in Toonwords Music. With AI, he quickly turns ideas into working solutions.
